Service Description: Purpose: Polygonal data sourced by the Landscape Maintenance Agreements Web map referenced by the Maintenance Agreements dashboard. The Landscape Maintenance Agreements dashboard is a starter up application meant for stakeholders to scrutinize the contracts in a geographic context, narrow down appearance preferences and envision desired capabilities.
Intended Use: To keep track of about a hundred agreements across jurisdictions, agencies and private sector.
Department: Planning and Zoning (DSD)
Data Source: Enterprise geodatabase Planning dataset
How was the Data Manipulated: Researched all the landscape agreement resolutions, then georeferenced and digitized both polygon and line features. Historically, these layers were managed by FDOT but were neither properly maintained nor updated. Then attached all the resolutions and plans to feature services, based on comments and content fields within the layer.
How the Data is Modified: Based on the renewal of contracts, the establishment of new agreements, or the retirement of existing ones.
Update Frequency: Per request and new contracts
Note: Typically, the agreements have been managed by Parks and Recreation. This application aims to streamline keeping track of the activity via a GIS implementation.
