Service Description: <div><div><p><span style='font-weight:bold;'><span style=''>Purpose: </span></span><span>This
feature class was developed to represents bulk pickup, recycle pickup, and trash pickup days. Uses for the purpose of informative mapping, analysis, planning. The accuracy of this data varies and should not be used for precise measurements or calculations.</span></p><p><span style=''><span style='font-weight:bold;'>Intended Use:</span> </span><span>Currently used for location information purpose in the Sanitation Viewer, mobile apps, and other Public Works applications.</span></p><p><span style=''><span style='font-weight:bold;'>Department:</span> </span><span>Public Works Department - Sanitation Division.</span></p><p><span style=''><span style='font-weight:bold;'>Data Source:</span> </span><span>Referenced feature service on Enterprise portal.</span></p><p><span style='font-weight:bold;'><span style=''>How was the Data Manipulated</span></span><span><span style='font-weight:bold;'>:</span>
Data was added to GIS from Bulk, Recycle, and Residential Pickup Days as separate layers. These layers contain gaps in service area, so each layer was generalized separately to eliminate gaps and slivers. This produced the three separate generalized service polygons (Generalized Recycle, Generalized Residential, and Generalized Bulk), Then, the three
were union to create this feature class, the Generalized Service Pickup
Days, which displays the zones according to pickup day, in a user-friendly interface.</span></p><p><span style=''><span style='font-weight:bold;'>How the Data is Modified:</span> </span><span>Update will be made if sufficient information is provided to GPS Technician from Engineering or Drainage division.</span></p><p><span style=''><span style='font-weight:bold;'>Update Frequency:</span> </span><span>Edits to the data will be performed when the zones/days change with information provided by Public Works Sanitation supervisors.</span></p></div></div>
