Purpose: To identify bike lanes used by cyclists. This lane is to be used by those traveling via bicycle while on an public road.
Intended Use: Geographic area used for display in large scale web applications
Department: All City Departments, Public
Data Source: PSQL19-GIS-AG1 in the Transportation dataset
How was the Data Manipulated: The layer was created by GIS Team for Development Services - based upon input from Alex Hansen - City Comprehensive Planner - Development Services
How the Data is Modified: Although not currently in a data maintenance workflow, The information is used by several departments (Development Services,Parking, Planning, Engineering and Public Works) and a data ownership role should be taken over by the Development Services department.
Update Frequency: Not being updated.
