Service Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Purpose: </SPAN><SPAN>This point feature class represents spatial location of streetlights. The Public Works department maintains WPB owned assets . The ownership attribute has categories for FP&L, FDOT, WPB, and Privately owned assets. Private owned streetlights were identified as such because they are located within a private (gated community) or in a parcel and not located in the public ROW.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Intended Use: </SPAN><SPAN>The primary use is for Public Works Streetlight group to manage WPB owned assets. Other departments have made other requests from this layer but since his layer is not currently maintained the requests are often discarded or cancelled. The data gaps include not receiving lighting plans of streetscape or CIP,or Developer projects,. Also the ownership attribute needs to be verified as well as the numbers of private streetlights that are eligible for the Public Safety streetlight program. Public Utilities - Sustainability group can not conduct an energy consumption study because assets owned by others have incomplete attribute information. </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Users of this data should exercise caution and field verify their study areas</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Department: </SPAN><SPAN>Information Technology - GIS Division & Public Works - Streetlight Division</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Data Source: </SPAN><SPAN>PSQL19-GIS-AG1 layer in Transportation dataset</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">How was the Data Manipulated</SPAN><SPAN>: Data was added to GIS from various sources in 2012 and since then WPB assets are being maintained by Public Works - Streetlight Division</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>It's recommended that an accurate field survey be completed along with departmental Service Level Agreements (SLA) created for maintenance responsibilities to keep the data current.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">How the Data is Modified: </SPAN><SPAN>Update will be made if sufficient information is provided to GPS Technician s and Public Works Department - Streetlight Division.will continue updating WPB assets.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Update Frequency: </SPAN><SPAN>Only WPB assets are being updated</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Note: </SPAN><SPAN>This data in this layer was assembled from various data sources (Engineering survey, Planimetric mapping, FPL)and some heads up digitizing from 1990's to present. It was reformatted into this ESRI LGIM schema to create field applications for Public Works maintenance workers. The layer was created Jan 2018</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
